About the event
Too often we define someone by a descriptive label that puts them into a neat little box that serves only to reinforce stereotypes. We are all unique individuals. Our brains are as unique as our fingerprints.
There is a evolutionary reason why 1 in 5 of humankind think differently; - ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, dysgraphia.... Diversity of mind is a scientific reality and the universal design. What we need is a diversity of mindset, open to and embracing the phenomenal diversity of human neurocognitive potential. We don't all fit into one box.
Join us for an exciting panel on discussion on Neurological Differences as we explore the following:
- Defining and understanding co-occurring differences
- The importance of an intersectional approach to neurodiversity
- The benefits and challenges of having individual diagnosis
- Positive examples of support and insight to help indiividuals identify their neurodivergent traits.
This is a free online event via Zoom.
